Overview
BDB is a unique analytics platform that will give you a 360° view of your business data.
BDB enables users to assemble data from multiple data sources, both structured and
un-structured, and then build visually stunning, dynamic dashboards. Users can access
these dashboards from their PCs or mobile devices and can even enter real-time data from
their mobile devices.

Security and Authentication
Supported authentication modes:
Password expiry (Administrator Level):
Set time limit for password expiry. Once password is expired user
will be forced to change the password. Notification for password expiry will be provided
to users when expiry date is approaching.
Password Strength (Administrator Level)
Setup parameter for password strength.
Password re-use strategy (Administrator Level)
Based on password re-use strategy setting: - User password history
shall be maintained for the past four ‘x’ passwords to ensure users do not re-use
previous passwords… where ‘x’ (count) is set in the password re-use strategy setting.
User passwords shall have a minimum time to change of one (‘x’) day to ensure users do
not cycle through passwords
Access lockout strategy (Administrator Level)
Provide facility to enable system lockout strategy. No of failure
allowed need to be configured. The system I will be locked out if user make ‘x’ number
of failed attempts. Once system is locked out, user will need to contact administrator
to reset the system before he can login again.
Mobile security configuration
Ability for user, to set the mobile authentication key required for
Mobile authentication. This will be used for validating mobile authentication.
User Management and Privileges
The User Management module enables administrator to create and
manage login credentials for each user. Administrator can also limit that each user
access, together with the available functionality.
Administrator can also create difference groups of users. Groups are
collections of user who share the same account privileges; therefore, administrator may
create groups that are based on department, role or location. Groups enable
administrator to change the rights for users in one place (a group) instead of modifying
the rights for each user account individually. Also, Administrator can assign different
plugins rights to a group or groups.
Data Connectors
Native data connectors for secure, fast connections. BDB Platform
has native connectors to many common databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL,
Oracle, Hive, MS SQL OLAP. If a native connector is not listed above then any databases
which support JDBC protocol can be made available through customization.
Once the connection is made successfully with the databases then
user can create query service which can be published as RESTFUL service and can be
consumed inside and outside the platform. Creation of query is similar to writing a
query in SQL with few simple syntax change.
Dashboard Designer
BDB Dashboard Designer is a browser based HTML5 dashboard designer that users can use to
build dashboards and design analytics. It comes preloaded with a wide range of charts,
features, and data integration capabilities that empower users to create informative and
appealing visual representations of their data.
BDB gives better insight into a business by providing features such as zoom-in/out of
charts, dynamic-visibility, and flexible export options.
Geospatial
Geospatial Analysis is a distinctive approach to visualize the
current corporate scenario. It enables the users to access business information of the
distant geographic locations at
the tip of their fingers. Big organizations having their branches around the world
requires a specific tool to manage their vast business, Geospatial Analysis resolves
this
quest with its ability of connecting to any given geographical place for the further
inspection and analysis of required data. It becomes much easier with Geospatial
Analysis to view the progress of the different branches and understand the areas to
improve.
This helps any business to maintain their statistical records and analysis together with
other procedure having a geographical aspect.
Survey
BDB Survey provides organizations with the ability to create unique,
interactive, and operational surveys to gather valuable information from customer
feedback to product research. It serves as an effective tool to collect,
store and analyze relevant information regarding any business aspect. Integration of
Survey with BDB Sentiment Analysis makes it a robust analytic tool to extract emotions
out of collected textual data.
It is possible to export Survey data to many formats. The most unique feature of Survey
is to export Survey data into a ‘Data mart’ and use BDB Dashboard Designer to create in
depth analytics and Stunning Visuals.
One can fetch the relevant business data from other tools, applications, and websites
into these Dashboards.
Sentiment Analyzer
BDB Sentiment Analyzer extracts sentiments from simple reviews. It
then applies Natural Language Processing, machine learning algorithms, and emotion based
algorithms to determine the exact correlation between expressive scripts and their
social implementation. It is equipped with the ANEW (“Affective Norms for English
Words”), providing a set of normative emotional ratings for a large number of words in
the English language. These word-sets have been rated in terms of pleasure, activation,
and dominance in order to create a standard for use in studies of emotion and attention.
