For a Platform Company, one of the most important initiative is Documentation, Training, Certification process. In 2023, while 100+ Engineers from Customers and Partners & 50+ Engineers from Internal Teams has learnt BDB, we have seen making workflows have helped people pick the platform faster.
While working on 8.5 features, we started working on Training Content that helps #dataanalysts#dataengineers & #datascientists not only learn #BDB Platform but get practical knowledge of #Data & #Analytics.
We have seen it to be working. A fresher with basic #SQL and #python skills is able to use entire platform and create #business#Contents. What we have seen is
It takes a week to Understand the basic platform and learn the #businessIntelligence [Workflow 1 and Workflow 2]
It takes 2 weeks to understand and practice Data Engineering flow for a Python Developer [True Low code Platform]
It takes 2 weeks for a Data Scientist to Understand Data Science flow as well as Data Pipeline flow in platform.
It takes 2 weeks to Practice Dashboard Designer and work on creating Governed Dashboards.
In 3 months - Freshers can be trained and deployed onto basic Analytics tasks.
In 2-3 weeks, experienced people can be trained and put onto complex tasks using BDB.
We have built training material for couple of verticals but we are working on following Business Segments to help people learn in the domain of their choice.
