BDB SaaS platform provides a rapid entry into analytics, featuring a Multisite, multitenant deployment on the AWS cloud provider with robust security measures. Customers can choose a package that aligns with their specific needs and profiles.

• Choose a package based on your business needs.
• The portal will provide itemized billing for the selected duration (1 month, 3 months, or 12 months) in either INR (for Indian customers) or USD, with applicable local taxes included.
• Generate and accept the End User License Agreement (EULA).
• You will receive an email notification sent to you, BDB Finance, and BDB Inside Sales.
• BDB Finance team will then raise an invoice.
• Once you've made the payment via bank transfer or other applicable methods, the BDB Sales team will confirm receipt.
• Within 2 working days, BDB Support will create an account for you and send the details via email.
• This initiates ongoing communication with various BDB groups, providing the opportunity to discuss upgrades in the future and ensure your account remains active and functional.

BDB SaaS pricing is determined by the following parameters:

• Type of Package (Software Requirements): The pricing varies based on the specific software packages you choose. (Type of Business & Type of Product features)
• Compute (Number of Cores and Data Lake Cores): The computational resources you require, including the number of cores and Data Lake cores, influence the overall pricing.
• Region: Hosting charges differ across regions, and as we utilize AWS for BDB SaaS, the pricing is dependent on the chosen hosting region.
• Your Profile: We strive to accommodate various customer profiles, offering potential discounts, particularly for educational institutes, to the best of our ability.
• This transparent and customizable pricing structure ensures that you pay for the services that align with your specific needs, usage and economy of the region.

Unlike many trial packages that are often limited in features or offered by companies with substantial funding, BDB recognizes the frustration of receiving minimal credits that quickly run out for developers. Our approach to trials is different.
BDB offers a trial experience at the cost of a meal in a decent restaurant in your country. With our pricing, there are no surprises, and you always maintain control over your spending. We understand that, as a platform that may not be widely known, BDB might not be the initial choice for customers. This is why traditional free trials have not been as effective in the past. Our goal is to provide a transparent and manageable pricing structure, avoiding unpredictable budgets in production scenarios.

Once your account is established, you'll be in direct contact with BDB teams (Inside Sales, Finance and Support). Invoices for renewal will be generated and can be conveniently paid. If your needs change, you have the flexibility to upgrade or downgrade your package at any time. For example, if your team is on vacation for a month and you don't require a 20-core compute, you can communicate this to BDB Support and adjust your plan to a more suitable 4-core compute. This adaptability ensures that your subscription aligns with your evolving requirements.

Once you are able to develop the contents and deciding to set up a QA Tenant, simply reach out to the BDB team to allocate the necessary cores for your QA tenant. You can purchase these cores separately for your QA environment.
For enterprise customers or those interested in a private installation, please engage with our Inside Sales team, as we offer the option for Private Installation to meet specific requirements. Feel free to discuss your needs with our team for a tailored solution.

The BDB Software license applies to the Largest Tenant in your setup. However, customers are required to cover the Hosting Charges for all Environments. For specific details, BDB Support can provide case-by-case explanations due to the intricacies of computations and DevOps efforts involved.

Here are a couple of examples:

• Suppose Customer "x" opts for an 8 Core Data Science Package for the Dev Tenant and wishes to have a 16 Core QA/pre-Prod Tenant on BDB SaaS. BDB will charge based on the 16 core (QA Tenant) as listed on the website but will provide a discount equivalent to the 8 core DS package in the Dev Tenant, considering your region. The cost may fall within the range of 40-60% of your Dev Cost.
• If Customer 'x' decides to have a 24-core Production tenant on the BDB SaaS Platform, the pricing breakdown is as follows:
• BDB will charge according to the website for this 24 Core Compute on the Data Science Package.
• BDB will initiate discounts on License Charges for QA and Dev Environments, which should be less than 50% of what is shown on the website. If clarification is needed, please contact support.

Certainly, this configuration is possible. In this scenario, we will maintain a 100% charge for the Dev account. For QA and Production, BDB will only charge for the Production Licenses, making QA completely free.
It's important to note that there could be additional charges for Private Implementation, white labeling, and other specific requirements. For detailed information tailored to your individual case, please reach out to our support team. They will provide assistance and clarification on any supplementary charges that may apply.

BDB SaaS is in its initial launch phase, and we plan to introduce credit card payments in various countries gradually. Initially, this option will be available in India and the USA. We believe that the BDB pricing model offers predictability, and invoicing on a regular basis allows senior management to maintain control over overall expenses. As we expand, we'll work towards providing more convenient payment options, including credit card payments, in additional regions.

• Monthly Commitment Payment: Opt for a month-to-month payment plan with the flexibility to cancel at any time.
• Quarterly Commitment Payment: Choose a quarterly payment plan and receive a slight discount for your commitment.
• Annual Commitment Payment: Commit to a one-year subscription and enjoy a discounted rate for choosing this payment option. With this plan, you pay for the entire year, typically at a rate equivalent to 10 times the monthly payment.

Please note that transaction expenses are the responsibility of the clients. Additionally, local taxes are included in the pricing across all geographies.

You have the option to download all your Data in Data Lake(s) to another Cloud or Local Database.
Backing up your Dashboards in images, PDFs, etc., is also possible.
Snapshots of your pipeline can be taken, allowing you to create your own documentation for future reference.
Upon receiving a No Objection from you and providing evidence of data deletion, BDB will delete your data.

The Business Intelligence package is the only one where the number of users is a crucial factor. For the other packages, which are core-based with embedded software licensing in the pricing, you have the flexibility to create as many users as needed (please discuss your specific needs with BDB Sales for more information).

For example, in a 4-core Data Engineering Package, a business with a real-time data requirement might have no more than 3-4 users working simultaneously. On the other hand, an educational institute providing practical training could use the same 4 cores among 50 students, distributing the load at different times and avoiding large volumes in real-time pipelines. The approach is adaptable based on your unique requirements, and our sales team can provide guidance on optimizing your usage.

In the BDB model, certain components are included in the package, such as common computation, for which you won't incur charges if you're not actively using the platform. However, dedicated services or minimum account options, like the 4 Core Dedicated Compute or 4 Core Data Lake, do have associated charges, and this is detailed on our website.

The most effective strategy is to begin with the minimum plan and then add extra cores as needed. Scaling up during performance tests or large data volume testing is a seamless process, and you can scale down in the following month. Within the platform, you can monitor core consumption in the Pipeline module, which is the most data-intensive module. Other modules are already included in the standard package provided by BDB, allowing for optimization as needed.
